Martin Luther King Day:
A Day On, Not A Day Off
This year, Davis Bozeman Johnson Law Firm honored the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. through service and community engagement with the DB Giving Express on MLK Day.
The weekend began with preparation—on Sunday, volunteers gathered to pack essential items, cook meals, and collect donations. On Monday, in the spirit of Dr. King’s vision, we visited 10 hotels and motels, delivering food, toiletries, and other necessities to nearly 500 people in need. The day was a powerful reminder of the impact we can have when we unite in service and solidarity.
We are deeply grateful to our sponsors, S.P.A.R.C., for guiding us to the locations and inspiring this outreach, as well as our incredible community partners—Black Man Lab, The Black Women’s Lab, and Beacon Hill Black Alliance—for their unwavering support.
A heartfelt thank you to every donor, volunteer, and supporter who contributed to making this initiative a success. Your generosity and commitment brought hope and relief to many, and together, we embodied Dr. King’s dream of justice and compassion.
The DBJ Giving Express
The Davis Bozeman Johnson Law family came together for the DBJ Giving Express, a heartfelt holiday giveback event dedicated to supporting those in need. Through generous toy drive donations and the hard work of our committed staff and volunteers, we were able to prepare and distribute over 200 hot meals to communities housing homeless individuals. In the spirit of giving, we also provided toys for children, bringing joy to families during the holiday season.

Annual Toy Drive
This year’s Annual DBJ Toy Drive was a huge success, with over 500 toy donations collected to brighten the holidays for children in our community. Thanks to the generosity of our supporters and the dedication of our team, we were able to give away every single toy at Junction 2800, creating unforgettable moments for local families.
The event was more than just a giveaway—it was a celebration. We served hot meals, played uplifting music, and enjoyed a day filled with joy, laughter, and community spirit.
